Ingredients

  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • One 2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons bourbon

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place the maple syrup and ginger in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Use a slotted spoon to remove the ginger and discard.
4. Stir in the bourbon and keep warm while you make the French toast fingers.
