Ingredients

  • 12 oz can diet cola
  • 3/4 cup no salt added ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 4 boneless, skinless, chicken breast halves, 5oz each in weight

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a large skillet, mix cola and ketchup until smooth
2. Bring to a boil
3. Add chicken breasts and submerge in sauce
4. Cover skillet. Reduce heat, simmering for about 45 minutes, or until chicken is almost tender
5. Remove cover. Increase heat until liquid boils.
6. Continue cooking until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked but not dried out.
