Tuna Chow Mein Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 2 cans Tuna (6oz can)
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (10-3/4 oz.), Thin with 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 cup water
  • 6 ounces chow mein noodles, reserve 2/3 cup for top
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees

Saute celery, onion and green pepper in butter. (or melt butter in microwave safe dish and cook celery, onion & green pepper until soft).

Combine soup, milk & water in large bowl.
Mix in rest of ingredients.

Pour into buttered 2 qt. casserole.
Sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup chow mein noodles

Bake 30 min.
