Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 8 lg baking apples,peeled, cut into 1/2 inch sloces
  • 1/2 cup cold butter or margarine cut into pieces
  • 1 pouch of betty crocker oatmeal cookie mix
  • 3/4 cup pecans

Step 1

preheat oven to 375
in a large bowl stir togather syrup, flour and cinnamon until blended. add apples; toss until evenly coated. spread in an ungreased 13x9 inch baking glass baking dish
in same bowl, with partey blender or 2 table knives, cut butter into cookie mix until it resembles coarse crumbs. stir in pecans. crumble mixture over apples in baking dish
bake 30 minutes. very loosely cover with foil; bake 10-15 minuteslonger or until apples are tender
