STRAWBERRY ANGEL FOOD SALAD

Ingredients

  • 1 small package strawberry jello
  • 10 oz package frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 of 10 inch angel food cake
  • 1/2 container of cool whip

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve jello in 1 1/4 cup boiling water. Stir in strawberries, sugar and salt. Cool until jellow thickens. Fold in whipping cream. Cover bottom of 9 inch pan with small pieces of angel food cake. Pour 1/2 jello mixture over cake. Add another layer of cake pieces and pour remaining jello over 2nd layer.

Chill at least 5 hours or overnight.
