Ingredients

  • 1 box graham crackers or 1 box club crackers
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 bag or more of chocolate chips or mixture of whatever you prefer: dark, white, peanut butter or milk chocolate
  • 1 bag heath bar brickle or chocolate covered brickle (walmart carries this)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*

Use a jelly roll pan or a cookie sheet with sides. Line the pan with aluminum foil crimping over the sides of the pan. Spray the foil with cooking spray. Line pan with crackers. Break crackers to fill in the gaps.

Melt butter in saucepan and add brown sugar; bring to a boil and slow boil for 5 minutes (no less no more) whisking constantly. Quickly pour over crackers and spread evenly over all the crackers. Some gaps are okay they will fill in while baking. Put pan in the oven for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes remove pan and sprinkle the chocolate evenly over the hot candy. Spread the chocolate starting at the edge and covering the entire surface. You can swirl the chocolate to make a design. Sprinkle with brickle and let cool. Place in the freezer until cold. Remove the foil and break into pieces.
