Ingredients
- 1 1 1/2 lb butternut squash
- peeled, cubed and steamed until soft
- puree with salt to taste
- 1/8 c butter
- 1/8 c flour
- 2 c milk
- 1/2 c fresh basil
- No bake lasagne noodles for 6
- 1 1/4 c mozzarella cheese

Grease 8X8" pan.
Melt butter; stir in flour, cook 2 minutes on low. Stir in milk and cook until thick. Blend 1/2 sauce with basil. Stir in remaining sauce and pinch of nutmeg, if desired.
Layer in pan in order:
Sauce
Noodles
Squash
cheese
Repeat to make 3 layers.
Bake 40 minutes covered. Uncover and add more mozzarella cheese and bake 15 minutes more.
