EGG AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage, browned
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 slices bread, diced
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dried mustard
  • 1 1/2 cup grated cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Spread bread on bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle 1/2 of cheese over bread. Sprinkle browned sausage over cheese,then add rest of cheese. In a bowl, mix eggs, milk, salt and mustard. Pour over sausage/cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Uncover for last 10 minutes of cooking time.

NOTE: Recipe can be doubled. Add 20-30 minutes to baking time.
