Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup oleo or butter
  • 4 oz (4 squares) unsweetend chocolate
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 eggs
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

In large saucepan over low heat, melt ole and chocolate, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool slightly.

Stir in flour sugar nuts baking powder, salt and eggs. Mix well. Cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate. 1 hour for easier handling.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll each in powdered sugar,coating heavily. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 300 for 13-18 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet and cool completely.
