Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage
  • 1 bag "Simply Potatoes" hash browns
  • pepper to taste
  • 2-3 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 5 eggs, beaten
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • Lawery's seasoning salt, to taste
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 small jar sliced mushrooms (optional)
  • dash of salt
  • 3 Tbsp milk

Preparation

Step 1

Brown sausage and 2 Tbsp chopped onion together until done. Drain and set aside.

Mix hash browns, onions, seasoning salt, pepper and onion powder together. Place in a lightly greased 9 x 13 casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese on top. Spoon sausage on top of cheese. Top with mushrooms. Refrigerate over night.

When ready, mix together eggs, salt, pepper, and milk. Pour over casserole and bake @ 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
