Vickie's Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients

  • 24-oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 pt. whipping cream
  • 6 T. light corn syrup
  • 2 T. orange extract
  • cake cubes, fruit for dipping

Preparation

Step 1

Place chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler. Melt over simmering water; stir until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and stir to blend. Spoon into a fondue pot or mini slow cooker on low setting to keep warm. Serve with cake cubes and fruit for dipping.

Dip pound cake cubes, fresh pineapple, marshmallows...even graham crackers and pretzels into this luscious fondue.

Makes about 2-1/2 cups.
