Ingredients

  • 1/2 a package creamette fettuccini
  • 1 package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 lb. carrots or zucchini sliced, cooked and drained
  • 1 can mushrooms stews and pieces, drained
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • 2 cups milk
  • 6 slices process cheese product, cut up

Preparation

Step 1

in a large saucepan cook onion and garlic in butter until tender. Stir in four, salt and oregano. Gradually stir in milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens. Stir in cheese product. Stir until melted. Add broccoli, carrots and mushrooms, heat through. Prepare creamette fettuccini according to package directions. Drain. Serve sauce over hot cooked fettuccini.
