Ingredients

  • 4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. lemon or vanilla
  • 2 T. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Stir together flour, cream of tarter, soda and salt. Beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs and lemon extract, beat well. Beat well. Beat in milk. Add dry ingredients and beat until blended using 1/4 c. ice cream scoop, place scoops of dough 2 inches apart on un-greased cookie sheet. Flatten to about 3-inch in diameter with bottom of glass that has been dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden. Makes 20 giant cookies
