Carrot Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crisco oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs, 1 at a time
  • 11/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Mix wet ingredients. Mix dry ingredients and add to the wet ingredients.
Add the carrots and nuts
Bake at 350 20-30 minutes in a 9x9 baking pan.

Frosting
4 oz cream cheese, 1TBSP butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 11/4 cups icing sugar
