Ingredients
- 4 lbs. ground beef, 70% lean
- 1/4 c. curing salt
- 2 T. liquid smoke
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Mix, cover and chill for 24 hours. Divide into 4-8 inch logs. Roll tightly in nylon net, 12 x 18 inch. Place logs on broiler pan with a rack. Bake in 250 degree oven for 4 hours. Remove and take off net. Pat rolls well with paper towels to absorb excess fat. Cool slightly and wrap in foil.
