Ingredients
- 1 bottle root beer extract
- 1/2 cake yeast
- 4 lbs. granulated sugar
- 5 gals. warm water
Preparation
Step 1
Soak yeast in 1 cup lukewarm water. Mix sugar and extract together and stir into the 5 gallons of water; then stir in yeast water. Bottle in beverage bottles and cap. Lay on sides in a warm room, 70 to 80 degrees, for 2 to 3 days. Then store in a cool place for 3 or 4 days. Serve ice cold. It's Really good!
