  • cooking spray
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 3 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350. Mist an 8 inch square glass baking dish with cooking spray. Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Beat the butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Add brown sugar and beat. Add egg and vanilla. Add the flour mixture and mix on low speed until combined. Fold in the hazelnuts, coconut and chocolate chips.

Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
