Crab Rangoon

Ingredients

  • 2-6 1/2 oz. cans drained crabmeat
  • 2-8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 T. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 lbs. Rangoon skins or won ton skins

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients, except skins. Put scant teaspoon of mixture in center of skin. with finger tips moisten edges with water and fold. Fry in large skillet with 1-inch cooking oil at 450 degrees until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Serve with sweet or hot sauce. To freeze, cool thoroughly and store in plastic bag. To serve, bake frozen for 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until centers are hot.
