Ingredients
- 1 German chocolate cake mix
- 1 package Kraft caramels
- 1 small can evaporated milk (5 oz.)
- 3/4 c butter
- 1 small bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Pecans (if desired)
Preparation
Step 1
In microwave or stove top, melt caramels in 1/3 c evaporated milk until creamy. Mix cake mix with remaining milk and melted butter. Spread half on bottom of 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pour caramel on top. Spoon drop remaining cake mix on top. Bake 15 minutes. Cool and refrigerate.
