Rita Tubbs' Wonderful Spinach Salad

Rita uses "Brianne's Poppy Seed Dressing" - she gets it at IGA.

Ingredients

  • Spinach leaves
  • Feta cheese
  • Mandarin oranges
  • Red onion
  • Caramelized sliced almonds
  • Brianne's Poppy Seed Dressing

Preparation

Step 1

Combine spinach leaves, feta cheese, mandarin oranges and red onion. Toss with dressing. Top with caramelized sliced almonds. Serve.

To caramelize sliced almonds, put sugar with almonds and cook them in a small frying pan until sugar melted and turns slightly brown.
