RICE PUDDING

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Cooked Rice
  • 2 cups Milk-divided
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 2/3 cups Raisins
  • 1 tbsp. Butter or Margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla
  • Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Combine Rice, 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar, and salt in heavy saucepan.
Cook over med. heat -stir now and then, until thick and creamy-15-20 mins.
Beat egg, add remaining 1/2 cup milk. Slowly stir into rice mixture, add raisins, cook 2 min more stirring constantly.
Add butter and vanilla-put into dish or serving dishes-sprinkle with cinnamon.
