Ingredients
- 1 lb butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 heaping cup unsalted almonds
- 12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter and sugar in saucepan. Add almonds. Cook to 290 degrees, stirring constantly. Pour onto butter baking sheet with edges. Melt chocolate chips in microwave. Spread over candy while candy is still hot. Sprinkle nuts on top. Let cool and break into pieces.
