Ingredients

  • 1 pound medium size shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter, room temperature
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley, minced
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • Grated parmesan cheese, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place shrimp in a bwol and toss with 2 Tbsp of lemon juice set aside. In a medium size bowl, whisk until combined remaining lemon juice, wine, olive oil, butter, garlic, shallots, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Drain the shrimp, but do not rinse. Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp and toss to combine, Pour the shrimp into a baking dish. Spread out into an even layer. In a small bowl, combine panko bread crumbs and parsley with 2 tsp of olive oil. Sprinkle the panko over the shrimp. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through and panko is golden. Garnish with parmesan cheese and seve with lemon wedges. Can be served over rice or on toased baguette slices.
