Ingredients

  • 16 oz penne cooked and drained
  • 5 TB butter
  • 1 small onion minced
  • 2 gloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 28 oz can plum tomato crushed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 container Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Sauté onion and garlic in butter. Stir in vodka, simmer 5 minutes. Add tomatoes simmer another 15 minutes. Stir occasionally until liquid evaporates. Stir in heavy cream. Simmer 10 minutes, add cheese and seasoning.
