PUDDING PIE

A refreshing desert that can be changed by the pudding chosen. I have made this with butterscotch, pistachio and chocolate. All yummy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • large cool whip
  • 2 pkgs (small) instant pudding
  • 2 1/2 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

1st Layer:
Mix flour, butter, sugar and walnuts together. Press into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool slightly.

2nd Layer:
Whip cream cheese and powdered sugar until blended. Add 1/2 of large cool whip and mix. Spread over 1st layer.

3rd Layer:
Beat instant pudding and milk until mixture begins to thicken and hold shape. Spread over 2nd layer.

4th Layer:
Spread rest of cool whip on top. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts, if desired.

Regrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
