Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup sunflower or pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
- 1/3 cup golden raisins
- 1 tbsp grated orange zest

Preheat oven to 325 F. Lightly oil a rimmed baking sheet.
In a bowl, combine the oats, bran, coconut, almonds and sunflower seeds. Set aside.
Combine the oil, honey, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a small saucepan; cook over low heat to dissolve sugar. Toss well with the dry ingredients.
Spread the mixture evenly on the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until the granola is golden brown.
Return granola to the bowl; combine well with the remaining ingredients. Cool completely, then pack into airtight containers. Keeps fresh for up to 2 weeks.
