    sticks margarine

  • 2 1/2

    cups of flour

  • 1 lb. Box light brown sugar

  • 2

    large eggs

  • 1

    teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 1/2

    teaspoons baking powder

  • pinch of salt

  • cup of chopped walnuts

Directions

1 stick of margarine and 1 ¼ cup flour and 1/3 cup of brown sugar into a dry dough with hands, press into bottom of 9 x 13 ungreased pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. In a saucepan, heat up the other stick of margarine along with remaining sugar and heat to a liquid – do not boil. Remove from fire. Stir in beaten eggs and add remaining ingredients. Pour over crust and bake it 350 for 25 minutes. Let stand at least an hour.
