Ingredients
- 3-4 lbs. stew beef
- 2 c chopped onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 c butter
- 4 tsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. dry mustard
- 6 tbsp. brown sugar
- 6 tbsp. vinegar
- 6 tbsp. worsteshire
- 2 cans tomato paste
Preparation
Step 1
Simmer beef cubes 4 hours with 4 tsp. salt, covered, until tender.
Shred meat. Skim fat from broth.
Saute onions and garlic. Add 1 c broth and rest of ingredients. Simmer five minutes, add meat. Simmer 1/2 hour.
