Fruit Cocktail Cake

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 c sugar
• 2 c flour
• 2 teas soda
• 2 c fruit cocktail *
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 c sugar
• 1 c cream or canned milk
• 1/2 c butter
• 1/2 teas vanilla
• * Add juice if dry.

Preparation

Mix 1 1/2 c sugar, flour, soda, fruit cocktail and 2 eggs. Pour in greased pan. Bake 50 minutes.
Mix and boil 1 1/2 c sugar, cream(milk), butter, vanilla for 2 minutes. Pour over cake while hot.
