ROASTED RED PEPPER HUMMUS

Use the Blentec jar.
A twist on the traditional hummus with a mild red pepper taste and a slight kick of garlic and spice to serve as a dip or spread.

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp tahini
- 1 clove garlic, quartered
- 15 oz can garbanzo beans, drained and 1/4 C liquid reserved
- 1 C roasted red bell pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Add ingredients, including the ¼ cup reserved garbanzo bean liquid, to FourSide jar (or Twister Jar) in order listed and secure lid. Select “Dips” and serve.
Yields 2 ¼ cups. Servings 9.
