Ingredients

  • 2 cups basil, parsley, cilantro, or green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts, walnuts, pecans, or pistachios, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil$
  • 1/4 cup cheese or yogurt
  • pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper,

Directions

Add all ingredients into a food processor and process until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Store in a sealable container in the refrigerator until ready to use. If not using within a week, freeze in a plastic container for up to three months.
