Vegan: Leslie Taylorson's Philly Cheese Steak

Ingredients

  • In a bowl add:
  • 2 Portobello mushrooms or 1 pkg of Baby Bellas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin col pressed olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Tamari soy sauce
  • 2 t cumin powder
  • 1 t coriander powder
  • 1 T Ume plum vinegar
  • 12 cup white onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Set aside and let marinade
  • Vegetables:
  • In a separate bowl add:
  • 1 red or yellow bell pepper, seeded and sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli, chopped
  • Add all your favorite raw veggies from here
  • Cheese:
  • In a blender, add:
  • 1 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2/3 T apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 1/12 cup distilled water
  • Blend until creamy

Preparation

Step 1

To make the Philly Cheese steak, start with a whole Swiss Chard leaf or Corn Tortilla or any type of favorite tortilla (there is a sprouted tortilla at Home Health Market in Davidson
First spread a layer of steak, then the veggies and finally the cheese
Roll and enjoy
