Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless pork chops
  • 0.5 teaspoons sea salt
  • 0.25 teaspoons pepper
  • 0.25 cups honey
  • 2 Tablespoons stone ground dijon mustard
  • 0.5 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 0.5 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoons ground cloves

Preparation

Step 1

Rub pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown in a preheated non stick skillet over medium high heat for 2 minutes on each side. In a medium bowl, combine honey, dijon mustard, maple syrup, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. Add sauce mixture to pork chops in skillet. Reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes, turning pork chops one time. Remove pork chops from pan, and allow sauce to boil until thickened and reduced slightly, about 10 minutes. Pour sauce over pork chops before serving.
Freezing Directions:

Rub pork chops with salt and pepper. Brown in a preheated non stick skillet over medium high heat for 2 minutes on each side. In a medium bowl, combine honey, dijon mustard, maple syrup, ginger, cinnamon and cloves. Divide browned pork chops into gallon sized freezer storage bags. Divide sauce evenly and pour over pork chops in freezer bags. Label and freeze. TO SERVE: Thaw. Place pork chops in a a non stick skillet over low heat. Add sauce and simmer 10 minutes, turning pork chops one time. Remove pork chops from pan, and allow sauce to boil until thickened and reduced slightly. Pour sauce over pork chops before servings.
