Apple Nut Lattice Tart

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1-15 oz Pkg. ready made pie crusts (crusts) Pillsbury
  • 1 teas. flour
  • 3 1/2 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 TBL golden raisins
  • 3 TBL chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 tea. cinnamon
  • 2 tea. lemon juice
  • Glaze:
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 tea lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare pie crust according to Pkg. directions for 2 pie crusts,

Use 10" tart pan w/removable bottom,

Heat oven to 400 degrees.

Pres crust into bottom and up the sides of the tart pan

in a large bowl combine apples, sugar, raisins, walnuts, cinnamon, lemon peel and 2 tea. lemon juice.

Spoon into pie crust lined tart pan.

To make Lattice top - cut remaining crust into 1/2" strips, and place in lattice pattern on top of the apple mixture.

Brush lattice top with milk.

Bake 400 degrees 40-60 minutes. Cool 1 hour

Prepare glaze and drizzle over top
