Insalata Caprese

Ingredients

  • 2 large firm tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 6 oz (175g) mozzarella, slioced
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced basil or 1 tbsp. /22ml dried basil
  • 2 tbsp. ccapers
  • Coarse salt
  • 2 tbsp. (30ml) extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange tomato slices and mozzarella on platters in layers.

Sprinlke with basil and capers. Season to taste with salt. Drizzle with olive oil.
