Cheese-Filled Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • Cream Cheese Filling:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 oz. package cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup chopped peaches or strawberries

Preparation

Step 1

400. Grease large baking sheet. In saucepan bring water and butter to boil. Add flour all at once stirring vigorously. Cook and stir till ball forms. Remove from hear and let stand 5-10 mins. Stir in eggs 1 at a time, beating till smooth. Drop by heaping tsp. into 1-15 mounds onto baking sheet.Bake 30 mins. Turn off oven and let puffs stay in oven for 15 mins. Remove and cool on wire rack.

Prepare filling; Cut off tops of puff, remove any excess dough, spoon in filling and replace tops.

Microwave store bought frosting 10-12 seconds stirring until melted. Drizzle over top of puffs
