Ingredients

  • 1/2

    cup vegetable oil

  • 2/3

    cup dark-amber maple syrup

  • 1/4

    cup sesame seeds

  • 1/2

    cup shredded unsweetened cocnut

  • 3 1/2

    cups rolled oats

  • 1/2

    cup whole almonds, coarsley chopped

  • 1

    cup mixed raisins, dried cranberries and cherries

Directions

Heat over 225. In a large bowl, combine oil, syrup, seed, coconut and almonds. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet lined with foil. Bake until golden brown about 1 1/2 hours stirring occassionally to toast evenly. Transfer warm granola to a large bowl. Stir in dried fruits and let cool. Store in a tightly sealed container at room temperature.
