Rum (Sherry) Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c rum (sherry)
  • 1/4 c oil
  • 1 pkg yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 c chopped nuts
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 small pkg instant vanilla pudding

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients. Grease bundt pan well. Sprinkle chopped nuts on bottom of pan. Add cake mixture. Bake 350 until done (45-60 minutes).

Syrup: 2 T butter, 2 T water, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 c. rum (sherry). Boil butter, sugar and water until blended. Add rum (sherry). Drizzle over cake slowly while cake is still hot.
