Vegan: Leslie Taylorson's Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, soaked overnight and drained
  • 1 1/2 cups filtered water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 t sea salt
  • 1 cup pine nuts, soaked overnight and drained

Preparation

Step 1

1 Blend macadamia nuts, water, lemon juice, and salt in a blender until smooth.
2 Add pine nuts and blend well
3 Allow mixture to stand at room temperature until desired fermentation
4 As soon as it has a sour taste refrigerate it.
5 Enough lemon juice may be added to obtain a sour taste immediately
