Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell: refrigerated, frozen or homemade
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t ground cinnamon
- 1/2 t ground ginger
- 14 t ground cloves
- 2 eggs
- 1 3/4 cups (15 ounce can) Libby's Solid Pack Pumpkin
- 1 1/2 cups (12 fluid ounce can)
- Carnation Evaporated Milk
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves in small bowl
Beat eggs lightly in large bowl
Stir in pumpkin and sugar mixture
Gradually stir in evaporated milk
Pour into pie shell
Bake for 15 minutes in a preheated 425 degree oven
Reduce temperature to 350 degrees
Bake for 40-50 minutes or until pies test done
For lower fat/calorie pie, substitute Carnation Evaporated Lowfat Milk
