Ingredients
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 cup milk,scalded
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup sugar
- cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins

Step 1
soften yeast in warm water.combine milk,sugar,shortening and salt.cool to lukewarm.add 1 1/2 cups flour.beat well,beat in yeast and egg.gradually add remaining flour to form soft dough, beating well.place in greased bowl turning once to grease surface.cover and let rise until double.
turn out onto lightly floured surface, and roll out into approx. to 1/2" thick rectangle.melt margarine and spread over dough,sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.add raisins.roll up long way and pinch edge to seal.cut into 12 equal portions.
bake at 375 until lightly browned about 25 minutes
