- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 about 2 tbsp pickling spices-tie in a piece of chees cloth
boil above ingredients together for 5 minutes.remove pickling spices.pour over cook,peeled and sliced beets.
if canning process jars in canner for 25 minutes.
