Poor Man's Meal

This is a recipe that my daughter makes when she wants a warm meal but she doesn't want to spend a lot of preparation to make it.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 - 1/3 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 - 2 small potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 - 1 cup corn
  • Nature Seasons

Preparation

Step 1

Lay an 8" - 12" piece of foil onto the middle of a baking sheet. Mold the ground beef into a loose patty and place in the center of the foil. Add the potatoes, carrots, and corn to the sides and top of the ground beef patty. Sprinkle Nature Seasons over all of the vegetables and meat and add the butter to the top of the vegetables. Wrap the foil up into a tight ball and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 75 minutes or until the ground beef is no longer pink in the center of the patty and the potatoes are fork tender. Serve hot.
