    pkg. Spice Cake Mix

  • ¾

    c. Melted Butter

  • c. Evaporated Milk

  • 1


  • Frosting:

  • c. Packed Brown Sugar

  • c. Evaporated Milk

  • ¼

    c. cubed butter

  • 2

    c. Confectioners Sugar

  • 1

    tsp. Vanilla


Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13X9 baking pan. In large bowl mix cake mix, butter, milk and egg. Batter will be thick. Spread in greased pan and bake 15-20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool. In a large saucepan combine brown sugar, milk and butter over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 3 minutes. Stir in confectioners sugar and vanilla. Spread immediately over cake. Cool completely and cut into bars. Store in an airtight container.
