Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 5 cups milk
  • 4 cups cream
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs until light. Gradually add sugar to beaten eggs, beat until very stiff.

Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into canister and freeze according to manufacturers directions.
