Pecan Sandies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp. water
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Crem butter and sugar, add water and vanilla. Add flour and pecans; chill 3 or 4 hours.

Shape in balls or fingers

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow over 325 about 20-25 minutes. May take a couple of minutes more. Check often.

Cool slightly. Roll in confectioners' sugar.
