Ingredients

  • Gallon:

  • 2/3

    cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2

    cups sugar

  • 4

    cups milk

  • 2

    teaspoons vanilla

  • 1/4

    teaspoon salt

  • 4

    cups whipping cream

  • 2

    ounces semisweet chocolate

  • 2

    cups miniature marshmallows

  • 1

    cup chopped almonds or pecans, toasted if desired

  • Half Gallon:

  • 1/3

    cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1

    cups sugar

  • 2

    cups milk

  • 1

    teaspoons vanilla

  • 1/4

    teaspoon salt

  • 2

    cups whipping cream

  • 1

    ounces semisweet chocolate

  • 1

    cups miniature marshmallows

  • 1/2

    cup chopped almonds or pecans, toasted if desired

Directions

In a large saucepan, mix cocoa powder and sugar, gradually stir in milk. Stir over low heat until sugar and cocoa dissolve. Cool to room temperature. Stir in vanilla, salt and cream, set aside. Shred chocolate with coarse grater. Stir chocolate and nuts into cocoa mixture. Pour into ice cream canister. Stir in marshmallows. Freeze according to manufacturers directions. Stir to distribute chocolate, nuts and marshmallows evenly before serving.
