Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 green chili, chopped
- 2 large tomatoes, seeded and chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon achiote powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 pimento stuffed olives
- 1 tablespoon capers

Preparation
Step 1
1.Place first 12 ingredients in Electric Skillet and cook until meat is done [about 20 minutes]
2. Stir in olives and capers.
3. Split arepas [see basic arepa recipe] and fill with meat. Serve hot.
