Taco Spread

I'm not sure where this came from, but I have been making since the 80's!

Ingredients

  • 2 - 9 oz cans jalapeno bean dip (Fritos) bean dip
  • 1 1/2 / cup sour cream
  • 2 avocados
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup mayonaise
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup green or red pepper chopped (optional)
  • 1 bunch chopped green onions
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped black ripe olives
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese or monteray jack and cheddar

Preparation

Step 1

Spread bean dip on a 12 to 14 inch platter. Mash avocados and combine with lemon juice and mayonnaise. Pat on top of bean dip layer. Combine sour cream and taco seasoning. Spread on top of avocado mixture. Top with green pepper, tomatoes, onions, olives, and cheese.
Serve with tortilla chips.
