Ingredients
- 1 C yellow corn meal
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/3 c melted Crisco
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 small can cream corn
- 2/3 cup buttermilk
- 1 C grated cheese
- 4-6 jalepeno peppers chopped

Preparation
Step 1
Combine corn meal, salt and soda mix well. Stir in Crisco, add egss and peppers. Stir in corn and buttermilk.
Pour 1/2 batter into greased skillet.
Sprinkle cheese on batter, top with rest of batter.
Bake at 275 for 50-60 minutes
